It’s hard to justify Tahoe icons

Nikita Prokopov wrote an extensive blog post on just how bad the new MacOS UI guidelines are. A terrible idea that never should have gotten beyond an intern making an off-hand suggestion that became a full-fledged dead canary in the coal mine.
